Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, location, or other term entered into a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider receives the query so it can return the requested results. Montcalm County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The search provider’s privacy terms govern the information once the query reaches its service.
Emails and Contact Messages
If you send an email or use a contact form, we keep the message and the contact details supplied with it for as long as reasonably needed to respond. A message may include information you choose to provide about a Montcalm County Jail, Michigan Department of Corrections, parole, probation, federal, or immigration record question. Contact messages are not shared outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Data Collected Automatically

No internet transmission, connected service, or storage system can be promised as fully secure or breach-proof. Visitors should avoid sending sensitive details that are not needed for a message or request.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. A parent or legal guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion. We will address a verified request with the information reasonably available to us.
Your Information Choices
A visitor may ask about personal data held directly by this site. These choices concern our records and do not alter a Montcalm County, MDOC, court, BOP, or ICE record. Michigan’s Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, governs access to qualifying public records held by Michigan public bodies; it is not a personal-data control law for this private site.
